Meter is used for measurement of carbon dioxide CO2 concentration in the free air. The meters are manufactured in versions that differ in the measurement scope.
The meter ZFP9 is a stationary device, of small size, powered from an outside source. The meter is characterized by a modern construction based on the NDIR method (non-dispersive infrared method). It relays on the measurement of attenuation of infrared radiation and defined wave length put through the measured gas, suppressed depending on the carbon dioxide content in the gas examined. The NDIR method along with the device’s producer Japanese precision - Fuji company - assures accurate and stable measurement results and failure free work for many years (checked with many applications).
The meter has a built-in membrane filter of the gas provided for the measurement and a pump assuring constant flow of the measured gas with efficiency of approximately 0,6 liters per 1 minute. Gas is transported to the meter through a tube 4,8 mm in diameter.
The meter has two programmable transmitter outputs that are activated by the programmed CO2 levels (of regulated work thresholds in the measured scope 0...100%) and one analogue output 4..20 mA (of nonlinear characteristic).
Other additional options include: a digital interface RS-232 allowing on meter work in the LonWorks network or an interface S300, allowing on attaching the meter i.e. to a concentrator LB-731 or other device produced by LAB-EL.
