Thermometer is a stationary device of small size, powered from an
outside power supply. It is characterized by a modern construction
based on efficient and energy saving microprocessor controller. Basing
on the knowledge of nonlinear temperature sensor characteristics and
digital calibration data stored during the calibration process in a
device's memory - the microprocessor (built-in the device) counts the
actual temperature measurement results. Those results are sent (in a
digital form) from the device to a supervisory system of data
collection.
The following versions are available:
The device in a standard version LB-710TX consists of: a sensor used
for
temperature measurement (in a stainless steel pipe) which encloses a
sensor (a thermometric resistor Pt1000) connected with a
measurement converter by a cable of 1...10 m in length (depending on
the client's requests). Thermometer LB-710TX is especially recommended
for places where
humidity is high (i.e. coolers, fridges) because the measurement probe
is very resistant to moisture in its environment. Basing on the sensor
construction it can be used for temperature measurement of different
media in the scope of –100…+200°C.
Other constructional LB-710TF is designed for air temperature measurement (i.e. in warehouses) is placing a sensor inside of a converter’s casing i.e. type that is used in a hytherograph LB-710.
The device is equipped with a digital current interface and its time
course is analogous to the standard RS232C. The records for succeeding
measurement results are sent outside of the device every 2 seconds. The
output interface, except for data transmission is also used for
powering the thermometer - using two-cable connection for this purpose
(i.e.: telephone type) but the polarity of attaching the interface's
cables is optional.
The device can be attached to any supervisory system using the interface, i.e. climate regulator LB-722, concentrator LB-731 (creating a monitoring system), panel LB-755, converter LB-486 or (using a converter LB-371) for the interface RS232C of any computer. It allows on remote control and automatic measurement data collection.
The device does not have any mechanical calibration elements (i.e.: potentiometers). The calibration of the device is performed by sending calibration data obtained in the model climate conditions through a digital interface to a non-volatile memory of device. It guarantees comfort and high calibration accuracy as well as stability of the device's meteorological parameters in time.
Each thermometer can have an individual calibration certificate issued by the LAB-EL Calibration Laboratory.Thermometer LB-710T is a less complex version (no humidity sensor) of the hytherograph LB-710, which received the certificate of type RP T 95 77 issued by the President of Central Measurement Office in Warsaw.
