What is Cold Chain
Cold Chain is a protection of goods requiring storage in cold conditions from the production stage, through transport, storage, distribution,
to their consumption. Ensuring uninterrupted cold chain requires the
use of refrigeration equipment, as well as surveillance equipment that
measures and documents the conditions for storing goods.
The use of Cold Chain procedures is nowadays indispensable in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries. Regulations in these areas are imposed by law as well as the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
